Dr. Elyse Graham (Department of English) shared her research on trolling behavior on the early internet, with an emphasis on the development of the phenomenon in a context of community boundary maintenance, misogyny, and the accessibility of the early internet. Her talk was attended by students, faculty, and staff and was followed by an insightful discussion about the nature of trolling and its broader implications.
