On 9/20, Kathleen Kasten, Head of Humanities and Social Sciences and Laurel Scheinfeld, Health Sciences Librarian, presented their research on ways the library can provide services and support for our military service members: Welcoming Those Who Served: Library Outreach to Military And Veteran Students at Stony Brook University.
We were very fortunate to have a special guest from the Office of Veteran Affairs, Pamela Pfeil. The presenters and Pamela engaged the audience in a conversation about our veteran, active duty, and military families here at Stony Brook University.
