Stony Brook Universities Library Access Services Department, as part of it Outreach Initiative Program, has teamed up with the Native American Student Organization (NASO) to help promote awareness of Native American Heritage Month in November. On Wednesday November 4th during the Campus Life period an educational and informational display will be set up in the library to help promote the libraries Native American subject collection and educate the student body on Native American history, current issues, and the importance of Native American Heritage Day.
